Part 47

Complete Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! Part 47 walkthrough, including finding the key and freeing Tomas.

Walkthrough:

1. Defeat the TNT Barrel Tosser by flaming the nearby TNT barrel. Collect its purple gem drop.
2. Defeat the ATBT (Armored Armadillo) by flaming its barrel, then its body for a red gem.
3. Jump onto the path and approach the TBT (Tumbling Barrel Thrower) tossing barrels. Jump over the TNTs and flame it at the top for a green gem.
4. Collect 5 gems behind the TBT, then 4 more from metal chests to the left.
5. Jump onto the step and pick up 2 loose gems and 9 from wooden chests on the ledge.
6. Up top the second building in the first area, Lateef will appear.
7. Glide to the ledge near a barrel. Jump up to its ledge and charge ahead to hit the strong chest on the platform.
8. Glide to the platform with a single gem.
9. Run over the bridge to the right with two gems, and into the ship.
10. Charge the metal chests for 9 gems and grab the extra life on the prow of the ship.
11. Turn around and charge two metal barrels at the ATBT. Grab its purple drop.
12. Continue around the wall on the left outside and smash chests on each side for 7 gems.
13. Glide into the mini-cave. Flame the TNT barrel the Engineer is standing on, then grab the green gem.
14. Flame the TBT for another green gem. Grab three red gems along the wall.
15. Continue following the wall for 4 gems from chests.
16. Ignore the strong chest and glide around the corner to the left. Land and smash chests on the right for 10 gems total.
17. Charge the barrel ahead at the Engineer to defeat it and the ATST (Armored Armadillo) behind it.
18. Grab the green gem whilst flaming the ATBT for a purple gem.
19. Grab 12 gems behind them.
20. Run up the path the TNTs are coming from, jumping over them to flame the TBT for a purple gem.
21. Jump up the step and charge metal chests for 6 gems, plus 2 more behind them.
22. Take a right, jump up the step to 10 gems total and a barrel.
23. Line yourself up with the corner the barrel is closest to, then charge it in that direction to destroy the strong chest.
24. Glide down to the strong chest for eight red gems.
25. Run back up the structure and take the normal route towards the ship on the left. Glide down to it and find two red gems.
26. Go inside the ship to find an extra life. Smash green and purple-topped chests by the wall.
27. Charge the MBT's (Mega Barrel Thrower) barrels back at it along here for a purple gem.
28. Behind the barrel respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death), grab 8 loose gems.
29. Through the door on the right, charge the barrel of one of the three Engineers lined up on metal barrels to defeat them all.
30. Grab 6 gems in drops.
31. A sneaky ATBT is hiding around the corner. Jump around the corner with a flame, then a second one for its purple gem.
32. Smash the wooden chests for 15 gems.
33. You'll re-find Tomas just after the second ship, before the bridges leading to the final section.
34. Off to the right, start going across a long bridge collecting three red gems along the right up to an Engineer.
35. Charge the barrel to the Engineer to defeat it. Grab 3 gem drops and 6 gems to the left.
36. Do the same with the next Engineer for 10 gems total.
37. Glide onto the metal bridge on the left with a purple gem at the far end.
38. Glide from it to the hole-island. Pick up 8 gems on the starting ledge.
39. Flame the Engineer's TNT down to the left. Stand back and watch the chain reaction defeat all four Engineers.
40. Pick up the 5 gem total drop.
41. Jump down into the pit. Line the barrel up with the MBTs and charge two to defeat them both for 7 gems.
42. Line the barrel up with the strong chest just left of them and hit it there. Get its 12 gems.
43. Go down the center, blue tunnel. Charge through three metal chests containing 9 gems.
44. Pick up 4 more gems along to the right.
45. At the end of the blue tunnel, you'll find the level's key.
46. Run back out of the tunnel to the central area. Jump up the step with a gem on to the green tunnel.
47. Flame the explosive chest ahead and wait for it to blast into 12 gems.
48. Over to the right, pass the barrel respawn by keeping as far left as possible when passing the TNT one.
49. Once past the respawns, charge the MBT's barrels back at it for a purple gem.
50. Go up and flame the TBT for another purple gem.
