Complete Part 33 in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!, including freeing Zeke and Bubba, and collecting all 500 gems.
Walkthrough
- 1From the starting island, glide to the next island. Flame the Wild Boar (WB) for a golden gem and collect 15 gems nearby. Charge the RS on the island for a green gem.
- 2Glide back to the nearest reachable island and return atop the logs. Jump down the hole.
- 3Once below, charge the SR to the right, defeat the two HTs one at a time, and then charge the remaining SR for 11 gems.
- 4Smash the wooden chests along the wall for 7 gems. Break open the two golden-topped chests beside them.
- 5Continue forward to find Zeke. After a group of enemies, a fairy points you down a hole. Zeke is at the bottom.
- 6After freeing Zeke, enter the area behind him. As you go through the arch, a WB will charge towards you, partially hidden by an SR. Let the WB charge through other enemies if possible. Flame the WB for a green gem.
- 7If enemies remain, flame the AF on the left for a green gem, charge the SR for another green gem, and defeat the last enemy for a purple gem.
- 8Proceed to where a WB charges towards you. Flame it quickly for a purple gem. Collect the four red gems on the edge to the left.
- 9An AF will move towards you. Flame it as you turn around for a red gem. Charge up the slope into an SR that drops a green gem.
- 10A WB behind the next SR will start running. Let it hit the SR as it reaches you. Flame the WB for a purple gem, and the SR drops a green gem.
- 11To the left, find two chests on the edge, each containing a green gem.
- 12Go right and line yourself up with the WB, with two SRs in between. Let the WB run through both SRs, then flame it for a purple gem. Collect the green and purple gems dropped by the SRs.
- 13Scour the purple floor for seven red gems.
- 14Opposite your current position, find an alcove with 7 gems.
- 15Follow the edge to the left, around the wall, to a golden-topped chest. Smash it open.
- 16Jump up the steps you just climbed to find the 'Return Home' vortex. To its right are two metal chests containing purple gems.
- 17After a mass of enemies, right beside the exit vortex, you will find Bubba. He will instruct you to charge and flame enemies.
- 18After freeing Bubba, you will have freed 4/4 Dragons.
- 19To the right of the vortex, in the corner, is a platform. Jump onto it and glide to the reachable wall.
- 20Slow-step to the edge of the wall and glide to the ruined wall ahead, which has steps. Jump up these steps.
- 21At the top, grab two red gems. Turn around and smash the purple-filled metal chests on the edge, plus an extra gem in between. Destroy the purple and golden-topped chests on the ledge.
- 22Go to where the top step is and look out into the water from the corner to see logs. Glide to the nearest one.
- 23Jump to the third log for four red gems.
- 24On the bridge ahead are seven SRs. Charge through each of them. The first six drop green gems, and the last drops a purple gem.
- 25Jump up the steps and flame open the three wooden chests for 20 gems.
- 26Flame open the three spinner chests for a total of 25 gems, the last of the level.
- 27Face where you remember the exit was and take a blind glide over to it. Exit the level.
- 28You will have collected 500/500 gems.
- 29You will have completed the level.
- 30To move on, return to Beast Makers Home. Glide over two islands to the right to the large island with the giant tree. Jump around the tree to find the portal to Tree Tops.
- 31You will fly into Tree Tops, landing in a sticky out bit of a gigantic tree in the sky. A green Gem Thief will run past other enemies and away. Do not try to catch it yet.
- 32Approach the enemies: a Banana Arrowhead (BA) and a Large Arrowhead (LA). The BA throws bananas, which can be dodged. The LA kicks with its feet. Any attack works on the BA, but the LA must be flamed. They drop a purple gem.
Tips
- Use the Wild Boar's charge to your advantage by letting it run through other enemies.
- Be careful when jumping up the increasingly thin and high steps on the ruined wall.
- The glide sections require precise aiming; if you miss and fall into the water, quickly jump to safe land.
- Tree Tops is described as the hardest level in the game due to extreme supercharging, many jumps, and hard, blind turns.
