    #01. Zip Apprentice

    Objective: Web-zip on 3 moving objects. Spider Essence: +1000. This is part of the story progression, requiring you to use the moving objects blown by Sandman's tornado form to cross a sand pit. Hitting the Right Trigger enough will automatically zip you to one.

    #02. Zip Master

    Objective: Web-zip on 50 moving objects. Spider Essence: +2000. This challenge is more time-consuming than difficult. Stay at the entrance to the level to complete this by repeatedly swinging onto moving objects.

    #03. Spider Collector

    Objective: Find ALL of the Hidden Spiders. Spider Essence: +5000.

    1. Right at the start, Web Zip onto the first wooden pole and look left. A Hidden Spider is on the side of a wooden building. You must Web Zip onto the wall; wait for flying objects to pass.

    Inside the first sand pit, on the second square platform. Use Spider-Sense, look above, and comb the walls for wooden parts to crawl across. Web Zip onto a wooden section of the wall from the left side of the platform to reach the spider.

    Inside the first sand pit, up the multi-tiered platforms before the first water tower. It's on one of the steps and hard to miss.

    Just after entering the mine shaft, look over the edge for wooden beams below. Fall onto the closest one, walk towards the wall; the spider is down there.

    Located in the second sand pit. Reach the train tracks to the second water tower, go left to a dead end where the spider is located.

    On the side of a wall near the third water tower. Turn your back to the water tower, walk to the back wall, look right. Double jump to the wall to grab the spider, then perform a recovery.

    As you rescue the miner, look down in the gap between the passage and the island he's stuck on. Jump off the edge and collect the Hidden Spider on the side of the wall, then perform a recovery.
  • #04. Thirsty?

    Objective: Hit Sandman with 10 water barrels during the first encounter. Spider Essence: +3000. To harm Sandman, throw barrels or use water valves. Barrels are best as they regenerate. One barrel is needed to make Sandman muddy, but you can continue to toss them for the challenge. Wait and toss barrels until the challenge is complete.

  • #05. Have a Drink!

    Objective: Throw 25 water barrels at enemies. Spider Essence: +1500. Throw water barrels at sand creatures to weaken them. Throwing multiple barrels at muddy targets still counts. Throw every barrel before finishing enemies; you should complete this after the third or fourth wave of sand creatures.

  • #06. Pressure Release

    Objective: Use 10 water valves to turn sand creatures into mud. Spider Essence: +3000. Unlike "Have a Drink!", soaking already-doused monsters does not count. Only use water valves to get sand creatures or golems wet. If they are already muddy, nothing happens. It's possible to wait for them to dry, but it takes too much time. Track this challenge. After ripping off the water valve, stand against the pipe and wait for enemies to flock towards you.

  • #07. Tornado Chaser

    Objective: Stay airborne for 30 seconds, by web-zipping on objects hurled by Sandman. Spider Essence: +2000. This challenge requires you to stay airborne for 30 seconds by continually web-zipping onto objects Sandman throws. The easiest way to do this is to find a safe spot and wait for Sandman to throw objects, then Web Zip onto them and repeat. You can also do this during the Sandman boss fight.

  • Tips
    • For #02. Zip Master, staying near the start of the level is the most efficient way to rack up 50 web-zips on moving objects.
    • For #03. Spider Collector, remember to use your Spider-Sense (press Down on the D-Pad) to help locate the Hidden Spiders.
    • For #04. Thirsty? and #05. Have a Drink!, focus on using the water barrels exclusively until the objectives are met, even if it means delaying your progress against Sandman or the sand creatures.
    • For #06. Pressure Release, be patient and try to lure the sand creatures into the water valve's stream. If you miss, wait for them to dry or reset the encounter if necessary.
    • For #07. Tornado Chaser, the Sandman boss fight is a good opportunity to complete this, as he throws many objects.
