Tips

The number of Red Star Rings collected from a specific stage is shown on the World Map, Stage Select, and Pause Screen (HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap)).
If you collect all 5 Red Star Rings in a stage, a Sparkling Winged Red Star Ring Icon will replace the standard count on the World Map and Stage Select.
Warning: If you collect Red Star Rings but exit a stage before clearing it, you will lose all collected rings.
Warning: If you collect a Red Star Ring and die before reaching the next Star Post (checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death)), you will need to recollect it upon retrying the stage.
The 15 Red Star Rings in the Sonic Forces: Episode Shadow DLC do not count towards the main game's unlockables.
