Navigate the complex terrain of Shinagawa Netherworld in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. Find Miman, complete quests like 'Save the Students', and discover valuable chests and essences.
You will arrive in the Shinagawa Netherworld and need to activate the first Leyline. Like the previous area, you will find 50 more Miman here alongside several quests and enemies. Keep in mind you can return to Minato at any time from any save point.
Turn around to see a Koppa Tengu behind you. Go south west to find the 1st Miman behind a broken wall.
Nearby to the south is a building. Go up the stairs to the top to find a chest containing 3 Repulse Bells, which repel enemies and prevent encounters until the next new moon.
Walk further in, and some scenes will play. You will receive a new Main Quest: Save the Students.

Tennozu Island and Tennozu Exploration
You have several objective markers for this quest. We will address them as we proceed.
The terrain in this area is complicated, unlike the mostly desert terrain of the last area.
Proceed south east until you see a slope downwards. Look below to see a beam you can land on. Follow it north towards an objective to find the 2nd Miman.
Mitama in this area are harder to kill but yield more experience, money, and type-based rewards.
Jump down, and you will be informed a human is nearby. Before that, move south to find several Jack O'Lanterns. Deal with them as needed and continue south until you find a path going south west. Ignore this and keep going south.
Continue south to find a second path going the same direction with a vending machine. Use this to reach a save point, as the first one is currently unreachable.
Speak to Kodama near the 2nd save point. He wants 2 Chakra Drops. You can keep giving him Chakra Drops to receive Purge Charms, which cancel enemy buffs.

Return to where you sensed the human (where you jumped off after finding the 2nd Miman). Go north east and speak to the girl. You will then be informed that Tao can heal you after every battle.
Keep climbing the hill to the west to find the 3rd Miman.
Continue up the hill until you reach a ruined building. Climb the rubble to the roof to find a chest containing Andras' Essence.
Nearby, you should see a walkway with the 4th Miman on the roof. Go there next. Return, and you will see two Andras nearby. Defeat them, and behind the broken walls on the edge is the 5th Miman.
Face east and climb the hill, noticing the second ruined building next to the previous one. Use the hill to jump to the 2nd floor, where vending machines are located. Climb to the 3rd and 4th floors.
On the 4th floor, go around the corner in front of the stairs to find the 6th Miman.
Next, go to the east part of the roof and jump to the nearby hill with the Amalgam for 60 Glory. Jump down north, defeat (or recruit) the Incubus nearby, and grab the chest containing Aogami Type 3 Essence.
Jump off and return to where you found the Amalgam. Drop down in the opposite direction to find a chest containing Rakshasa's Essence.
Jumping down and following this street is not currently possible.
Return to the save point. On the way, you may find some Oni. Recruit or defeat them, but beware, they can easily kill you if you make a mistake.
Warp back to the first save point. Go south west, cross the bridge, and turn right (north) to return to where you found the 5th Miman. There is another bridge nearby (the one you found the 4th Miman on the roof of). Follow it to an area with Rakshasa and then some Legion.
Climb the building here. There will be a purple light for the 2nd Fiend fight; ignore it for now.
Behind one of the trees overlooking the area is the 7th Miman.
Backtrack to the 2nd save point. Nearby, you should see some cubes. Jump up to find the 2nd girl. Talk to her, and 'Da'at' will replace 'Netherworld' on the maps.
Go south to a bridge, cross it, and jump onto the rock on the other side to find the 8th Miman on the roof. Jump off the southern edge of this area to find the 3rd student.
Return to the 2nd save point and follow the path south east all the way to a vending machine. Go up the hill to the south east.
You will see a ruined building with a Mothman outside. Before entering, go past the Mothman. Go straight down the slope, and you will find some Oni. Ignore or defeat them, and go further down the path to find an Abscess. Rush it as usual.
The enemies are two Jack Frosts, weak to fire and using ice attacks. They are not a major threat if you do not have a demon weak to ice or if they guard before the enemy turn. Use Flame attacks (preferably Agilao) for a quick victory.
You should unlock 6 new miracles after this. It is highly recommended to acquire 'Knowledge of Tools' if you have enough Glory, as it allows your demons to use items, making all battles easier. This skill lets your demons use elemental shards and gems, healing items, and dampeners, and ensures the Nahobino doesn't waste turns using items.
Another helpful skill is 'Demonic Discipline,' which increases experience given to demons in stock. While not essential, it can be very useful.
If you lack the Glory, you can grind Mitama in the first area by using the Navigator or checking the spawn locations of blue Mitama.
Return to the 2nd save point.
