CHAPTER III: TRIAL BY FIRE

After landing on the beach, move through the ruined ship. Your objective is to reach the tower and lower the harbor chain.

Continue through the ship's ruins until you can drop down and engage barbarians. Focus on defeating them quickly to maintain your Roman soldiers' survival.

This section introduces the heavy attack (hold X or Y). After defeating the barbarians, proceed until archers begin firing.

Keep an eye on the arrow indicator. You can roll to dodge arrows or tap A to deflect them just before impact. You can also grab projectiles and throw them back at archers from cover.

Proceed to the tower. When you reach the flag, press A to form your soldiers into formation. Hold A to block incoming fire arrows and advance.

Inside the tower, grab more projectiles and engage enemies at the counter-weight. Multiple waves of barbarians and archers will attack. Kill them to maintain Roman numbers. Destroy the wooden counter-weight pieces and defeat any new enemies.

Enemies similar to the Barbarian Warlord from Chapter I, but armed with axes, will appear. Some attacks can be deflected, but roll away when their bodies are highlighted red.

On the next beach, fight through barbarians and kill their archers. Climb over the barricade and eliminate archers on rooftops.

Once your own archers arrive, order them to "FIRE VOLLEY!" to thin out the barbarians. You can choose to have them focus on enemy archers or help with melee combat, depending on your needs. Defeat all enemies in this area.

Move with your soldiers to the catapult tower, engaging mixed groups of archers and melee barbarians.

At the base of the tower, kill archers above the bridge and throw projectiles at the rope holding the bridge. Once the bridge is destroyed, cross it, ascend the stairs, and reach the top of the catapult tower.

Man the arrow turret and eliminate enemies on the opposite tower. Avoid catapult fire (indicated by a ground radius) and defeat all incoming barbarians. Use Kinect voice commands like "CATAPULT FIRE!" and "FIRE VOLLEY!" when prompted.
