Walkthrough

First things first, you'll need to head to the Graveyard. The right-most area is where Skullmageddon hangs out. Talk to him to get the quest officially started.

After you've got the quest, make your way to the Abandoned Trainyard. The quickest way to get there is by using the Bus Stop at the Campground.

Once you're in the Abandoned Trainyard, head down the ramp to your left. You'll see a ghost trap has appeared. Attack it or grab it to activate it. This is what starts the actual Ghost Pepper hunt, spawning two peppers in this area, two in the Amusement Park, and two more at the Ferris Wheel.

Now, for the capture: find a Ghost Pepper. You need to attack it until it's dazed and falls to the ground.

Once it's down, pick it up and toss it into the ghost trap you activated earlier.

Repeat this process for all six Ghost Peppers across the three different areas. Don't worry about carrying the trap around; it'll teleport to you when you enter a new area where peppers spawn.

After you've successfully captured all six, Skullmageddon will show up to collect the trap.

Tips

You don't need to physically carry the ghost trap with you between areas. It's smart enough to show up where you need it.
