Disarming Tripwires

Learn how to safely disarm tripwires in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. This guide provides essential tips to avoid damage and progress through Baker Estate.

1. Old House Tripwires: The first time you'll deal with these is in the Old House. You'll need to crouch down to get under them.
2. Helipad Tripwires: Later in the game, you'll find more tripwires blocking your path to the helipad. Again, the solution is to crouch and carefully move under them.

Tips for Disarming Tripwires

• Crouch, Don't Walk: The key is to be in a crouched position. This lowers your profile enough to pass beneath the wires without triggering them.
• Move Slowly: Once crouched, move forward slowly and deliberately. Rushing can still cause you to bump into the wire.
• Look Before You Leap (or Crouch): Always take a moment to assess the situation. Make sure you're in a clear spot to crouch and that there are no enemies nearby that might take advantage of your vulnerable position.
