Navigating the Baker Estate can be a terrifying and confusing experience, especially with its labyrinthine corridors and hidden passages. This section provides detailed overviews of key areas, highlighting critical paths, item locations, and strategic considerations to help you survive.

Main House: 1F

The ground floor of the Main House is your initial entry point into the Baker family's twisted world. Expect encounters with Jack Baker and various Molded. Resource management is crucial here.

• Entry Hall: Your starting point. Immediately to your left, check the small table for a Herb. The door straight ahead leads to the Living Room.
• Living Room: Contains a VHS Player (essential for the "Mia" tape) and a Storage Box. On the coffee table, grab the Mia VHS Tape. Be prepared for Jack to patrol this area after certain events.
• Dining Room: Accessible from the Living Room. On the table, you'll find some Handgun Ammo. The door to the right leads to the Kitchen.
• Kitchen: A critical early-game location.
  • Strategy: After the "dinner" scene, you'll need to escape. The back door to the Pantry is your immediate goal.
  • Items: A Knife is found embedded in a piece of meat on the counter. This is your first melee weapon.
  • Action: Use the Knife to cut the tape on the Pantry door.
• Pantry: A small, cramped room. Look for Green Herb on a shelf.
• Laundry Room (Safe Room): Your first safe haven. This room contains a Tape Recorder (for saving your game) and a Storage Box. Take a moment to organize your inventory.
• Garage: Accessed after obtaining the Ox Statuette.
  • Strategy: This area is the site of your first major boss fight against Jack Baker. use the car and environmental hazards to your advantage.
  • Items: Before the fight, look for Handgun Ammo and a First Aid Med on shelves. After the fight, collect the Car Key from Jack's body.

Main House: 2F

The second floor introduces more complex puzzles and stronger Molded. You'll need specific keys to progress through many areas.

• Main Hall (Balcony): Overlooks the Entry Hall. Be cautious of Molded patrolling the hallway.
• Recreation Room: Contains a Shadow Puzzle.
  • Action: You'll need to find the Wooden Statuette (found in the Bathroom) to solve this puzzle and unlock the path forward.
  • Items: Look for Shotgun Shells on a small table.
• Bathroom: Accessible from the Recreation Room.
  • Items: The Wooden Statuette is found in the bathtub. Drain the tub to retrieve it. Also, check the cabinet for a First Aid Med.
• Master Bedroom: Requires the Snake Key to access.
  • Strategy: This room often contains a powerful Molded. Consider using a Shotgun or carefully placed headshots.
  • Items: Inside, you'll find the M21 Shotgun (if you haven't already acquired the M19 from the Kids' Room) and a Backpack upgrade, increasing your inventory slots.
• Kids' Room: Requires the Snake Key to access.
  • Items: Contains the M19 Handgun (a more powerful handgun) and a Repair Kit, which can be used to fix broken weapons.
