Welcome to the Bradbury Swimming Pool, a pivotal location in Act 2. This section will guide you through the area, highlighting key objectives, collectibles, and combat strategies.

Initial Exploration and Collectibles

Upon entering the Bradbury Swimming Pool area, your immediate goal is to locate the time machine components. Before proceeding directly, take a moment to explore the surrounding environment for valuable intel and upgrades.

• Follow Liam: Stick close to Liam as he leads you through the initial corridors.
• Chronon Source (1/2): As you move through the first hallway, keep an eye on the right side. There's a small alcove or recessed area where you'll find your first Chronon Source. These are crucial for upgrading Jack's time powers.
• Narrative Object (1/1): Shortly after the Chronon Source, you'll enter a slightly larger room. Look for a desk or table with a computer monitor. Interact with it to find a narrative object, providing more insight into the game's lore.
• Chronon Source (2/2): Continue through the area until you reach a set of lockers. The second Chronon Source for this section is located inside one of these lockers. Be thorough in your search.

The Main Pool Area: Combat Encounter

After collecting the initial items, you'll enter the main swimming pool area. This is where you'll face your first significant combat encounter in this section.

1. Initial Engagement: As you enter, several Monarch security personnel will be present. Utilize your Time Stop and Time Dodge abilities to gain an advantage. Focus on headshots for quick takedowns.
2. Environmental Awareness: The pool area offers various cover points, including overturned tables, pillars, and the pool's edge itself. Use these to your advantage to break line of sight and reload.
3. Flanking Maneuvers: Don't stay in one spot. Use Time Dodge to quickly move around the environment and flank enemies, especially those entrenched behind cover.
4. Heavy Reinforcements: Be prepared for heavier armored enemies to appear as the fight progresses. These enemies require more sustained fire or precise Time Stop + headshot combinations to defeat. Consider using your Time Blast if available for crowd control.
5. Post-Combat Loot: After clearing the area, scavenge for ammunition and any health packs if needed.

Locating the Time Machine Components

With the area secured, your primary objective is to find the time machine components. These are not immediately obvious and require some interaction with the environment.

• The Control Room: Head towards the elevated control room overlooking the pool. You'll need to find a way to access it. Look for a ladder or a series of platforms that can be climbed using your parkour abilities.
• Activating the Crane: Inside the control room, you'll find a console. Interact with it to activate a crane mechanism. This crane will move a large object, revealing the hidden time machine components.
• Retrieving the Components: Once the crane has moved the obstruction, descend back to the pool level. The time machine components will now be accessible. Approach and interact with them to complete this objective.

Once you've secured the components, prepare for the next phase of your journey, as new challenges and revelations await.
