Loot Tiers!!!

Understand PUBG: Battlegrounds Loot Tiers from UNDER-LOOTED to OVER-LOOTED, including weapon attachments and gear.

Looting is a fundamental aspect of PUBG: Battlegrounds. Upon dropping unarmed from the airplane, you must loot your surroundings. While it's possible to defeat an enemy with your fists and take their gear, focusing on looting the initial area is generally more effective.

PUBG: Battlegrounds offers a sandbox experience with multiple playstyles. Some players prioritize kills, aiming to eliminate as many opponents as possible, which is common in eSports. This approach reduces competition for the final Chicken Dinner. However, remember that PUBG: Battlegrounds is a survival game; high kill counts don't guarantee a win if you fail to be the last one standing.

Another playstyle focuses on acquiring the best loot. Players adopting this strategy often drop in less populated areas, avoiding hot spots to increase survival chances. Choosing a town on the MAP, far from the flight path, can provide a colder drop location. You can open your parachute earlier and glide to these locations. Be aware that dropping too far from the flight path means less time to loot, especially if the circle (the safe zone on the minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen)) closes far away.

If the circle is distant, prioritize looting but also look for a vehicle, as roads, trails, and garages are common spawn points. You might need to finish looting in a location closer to or inside the circle, but be cautious as players will be more concentrated. A general rule for looters is that the later the game, the more dangerous looting becomes. Avoid looting late in the game unless absolutely necessary, such as needing a replacement Helmet or ammo, or if you dropped far from the circle and didn't have enough time to loot.

The better your loot, the higher your chances of winning the Chicken Dinner. Loot is categorized into tiers:

• OVER-LOOTED!!!: Full Level 3 Gear, abundant Consumables and Throwables. Close weapon is an AUG or GROZA, long weapon is an MK14 EBR or AWM. Both weapons have ATTACHMENTS, Suppressors, and sufficient Ammo. Close weapon has a Red Dot, Holo, or short Scope. Long weapon has a 15x, 8x, or 6x Scope. Includes the Butt-shield (PAN aka Level 4 Armor).
• FULLY-LOOTED: Full Level 3 Gear, plenty of Consumables and Throwables. Both close and long weapons have sights and at least a 6x Scope. Both main weapons are fully equipped with ATTACHMENTS. Includes the Butt-shield.
• PLAYABLE-LOOT: Full Level 2 Gear, a decent number of Consumables, and some Throwables. Close and long weapons have sights and at least a 4x Scope. Weapons likely have most or all ATTACHMENTS. Skilled players can win with this loot.
• FUN-LOOT: Full Level 1 Gear, very few Consumables (e.g., 1-2 First Aids), no Boosts. Close and long weapons are present, but without proper Scopes (3x at best). Weapons likely lack ATTACHMENTS. Winning is unlikely with this loot.
• UNDER-LOOTED: Worse loot than FUN-LOOT. It is recommended to expose yourself to get looted, potentially by entering compounds, though this is risky, especially late-game. Looting is essential for playing the game.
• DEAD-LOOT :-P: Past Phase 1 of the Blue Zone and still unarmed. The source suggests suicide. This tier applies if you were AFK during Phase 1 and still have no weapons, even if you have looted Attachments, Gear, or consumables.

The author typically aims for PLAYABLE-LOOT and attempts to achieve OVER-LOOTED status when possible. Reaching OVER-LOOTED often requires risky ventures for CARE PACKAGES. The highest tier, READY-FOR-THE-DINNER, has not been personally achieved by the author despite significant playtime.
