  1. 1
Head forward, jump to the gap ahead, and drop down. You will touch a pool of the Water of Life, undoing the Dark Prince transformation.
  2. 2
Jump up to the ledge on the right, then to the ledge on the left. Jump and climb to the ledge above.
  3. 3
Move left and line up with the moving wall. Jump and stab into the plate on the wall when it descends, then run left at its ascent to reach the next platform.
  4. 4
Kill the four Reptus in the room. Stab the plate switch to the left of the third archway to open the door ahead and run through before it closes.
  5. 5
Optional Life Upgrade: Go through the curtain to your left. Jump to the next platform, then turn right and jump to another. Turn left, move onto the beam, jump to the next beam, then the next, and the next to reach the next platform. Turn right, move to the end of the next beam, then jump forward to reach another beam. Turn left and jump to the final platform.
  6. 6
Life Upgrade Hallway: Drink from the fountain to start. Wait for the spinning blades to go down, then run past. Move onto the beam ahead, drop into a hang, and shimmy upward to a perpendicular beam. Climb up, move back to the center, and forward to the edge. Wait for two spinning blades to pass, then jump to the next beam. Move as close to the platform as possible without moving from the beam. When the spinning blade ahead goes down, jump forward and head into the light to attain the Life Upgrade. You will be teleported back to the fountain. Retrace your steps back to where you came.
  7. 7
Ahead is a trap of two spinning blades followed by a spike trap. Wait for the blades to pass, run over the trap floor, and stop. Wait for the second set of blades to pass, then run past them to reach the next area.
  8. 8
    L. The Tunnels: Use the fountain if desired. Head forward to the platform's edge, run along the wall to your left, and jump at the end to reach the next platform. Turn left, run along the wall to the right to reach the ladder. Ascend the ladder, jump to the ledge on the right, and climb up. Jump up to the next ledge, but remain in a hang. Wait for the shooting arrows, then climb up and jump to the right. Wait for the arrows again, climb up, and jump to the platform above. Turn right and around to the platform's edge. Jump to the platform ahead, then again to reach the next platform with two Sand Archers. Speed Kill one, then the other.
  9. 9
Run up the wall to the ledge above and climb up. Move right, jump and climb to the next ledge, then jump and climb to the one above. Shimmy right, drop to the breaking ledge below, move right, and jump back up to a ledge above.
  10. 10
Jump to the opposite wall's ledge, move right, jump up to the next ledge, shimmy right, and drop to the next breaking ledge. Move right and jump up to the next ledge at the end. Climb up, and jump across to the ledge on the other side before it breaks. Move right, jump and climb up to the next ledge. Move right as far as possible.
  11. 11
Wait for the arrows to fire, then jump and climb up to the ledge above. Move right as far as possible, wait for the arrows to fire, then jump up and shimmy right on the next ledge. Climb up.
  12. 12
Wait until the retracting ledges above you both go out, then jump and climb up both. Move right, and jump and climb to the platform above to activate a cutscene and reach the next area.
  13. 13
    M. The Fortress: Use the fountain if desired. Slide down the gap. You will see two new enemies: Sand Guards (sand variant of standard Guards) and Sand Gate Guards. Sand Gate Guards can call reinforcements and require matching three visual cues to Speed Kill. They also possess a special sword that regenerates the Prince's Sands of Time, but it has low durability and is lost when turning into the Dark Prince.
