Hey there, Trainer! So you're curious about those shiny Medals you see on your profile? They're basically in-game achievements that pop up when you hit certain milestones. Think of them as bragging rights, but with some cool perks! You'll see a little animation when you earn one, kinda like when you level up.
Each Medal has four tiers: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. Some of them even give you bonuses, like a better chance to catch certain Pokémon types, or unlock new outfits for your Trainer. Pretty neat, right?
Your Medals are split into two main groups: general tasks and catching specific Pokémon types. They're usually sorted by tier, and then by when the feature was added to the game.
Some Medals are actually hidden at first, only showing up when you start working towards them. But a few, like Jogger, Kanto, Collector, Scientist, Breeder, Backpacker, Battle Girl, Ace Trainer, Johto, Hoenn, Pokémon Ranger, Idol, Gentleman, Pilot, Best Buddy, and Vivillon Collector, will always be visible on your profile, even if you haven't made much progress yet.
