Understand Phasmophobia mechanics: how to buy, sell, and lose equipment, ghost disruptions, and the different equipment types (starter, optional, truck).

Equipment in Phasmophobia can be purchased or sold in the Shop while in the lobby. When a player dies, they lose all non-default equipment brought into the mission. Players who survive automatically retain their equipment, with consumables needing rebuying if used. Players can store up to 999 of each item. Ghosts disrupt nearby electronics when visible, especially during hunts or manifestations. Holding active electronic equipment during a hunt attracts ghosts. Equipment is categorized into Starter, Optional, and Truck equipment.
