How to Beat Mare

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weakness: More aggressive in the dark, less aggressive in the light. Weak to fire.
• Evidence: Ghost Orbs, Freezing Temperatures, Spirit Box.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: The Mare will actively hunt more often in the dark. Its aggression will decrease significantly if lights are on.
2. Phase 2: The Mare will begin to manifest more frequently, even in lit areas. Its hunting behavior will become less predictable.
3. Phase 3: The Mare will be highly aggressive, hunting frequently regardless of light conditions. It will actively seek out players.

Strategy:

• Keep lights on as much as possible to reduce the Mare's aggression and hunting frequency.
• Use Crucifixes and Incense to deter hunts, especially in darker areas.
• Firelight and Igniters can be used to create safe zones or to provoke the ghost into revealing itself.
• Utilize the Spirit Box to gather evidence and communicate with the ghost.
• Be aware that even with lights on, the Mare can still hunt, so always be prepared.
