Tips
  • When fishing at sea, the first bite will always be a joke weapon. These trigger once per sea fishing session and appear in a fixed order: Bus Stop Sign (MC), Pinwheel (Yosuke), Bat Saucer (Yukiko), Hyper Drill (Teddie), Flintlock (Naoto), Colored Bench (Kanji), Metal Geta (Chie). These do not consume fishing tries. Avoid single ripples, as they are debris and use a fishing try.
  • If you missed buying Genji Beetles on 8/22, you can acquire them on 11/6 by asking the fisherman about bait and catching bugs. You can then fish for the Sea Guardian on 11/18. This will allow you to clear Quest 15 in January by showing the Sea Guardian to the old fisherman.
