    On January 31st, this is your final chance to spend time in the Town.

    Buy at least 20 of each item you will need to get through the ending.

    Purchase Special Outfits/Costumes, as they cost more than other body wear.

    Spend all your gems in the Antique store; they do not carry over. If pursuing the Ultimate Opponent, acquire more Homunculus.

    Sell all expendable items you will not use later, such as Empress's Mask (4000 yen), Traesto Gem (4000 yen), Wealth Coin, Beetle Horn, Golden Beard, Shadow Shard, Dense Rock, Broken Heart, and Opulent Coin. Items with "It might be valuable" at the end are good candidates. A Fine Statuette sells for 2,000,000 yen.

    After shopping, return to the Dorm, go to the Command Room, and talk to Mitsuru. Select "Okay" then "I'm ready."

    Ascend Tartarus from Floor 255 to 262.

    On Floor 258, you will encounter the storyline boss Nij. You can use a teleporter on this floor to go back and save, and also change your teammates. To proceed, select "Upper Plaza," then "Storyline."

    On Floor 262, you will encounter the storyline boss Ayakat. After the boss battle, use the teleporter to save your game.

    Proceed to Floor 263 and then to the "Peak of Tartarus" to continue.
Tips
  • The final bosses Nij and Ayakat have specific resistances and weaknesses. Nij resists Fire and Mudo, and nullifies Hama. Ayakat resists Mudo and nullifies Hama. Ensure your party members do not share the same weaknesses as the bosses.
  • New enemies encountered include Minotaur I (Weak to Fire, Mudo; Repels Hama; Resists Phys).
  • Enemy weaknesses and resistances observed include: Emperor Beetle (Weak - Strike; Nul - Slash, Pierce), Fierce Cyclops (Abs - Slash, Fire), Harmony Giant (Weak - Ice; Rpl - Pierce, Zio, Wind; Nul - Strike), Noble Seeker (Weak - Wind; Rpl 0 Fire, Hama, Mudo), Platinum Dice (Weak - Zio; Nul - Fire, Ice, Wind; Res - Phys), and Wrathful Book (Weak - Fire; Abs - Wind; Rpl - Ice).
  • Chests and Rare Chests are the same as before.
  • The teleporter on Floor 258 allows instant return and changing teammates.
  • Floor 262 also has an "Upper Plaza" and a teleporter for saving.
  • Going beyond Floor 262 is the "Point of No Return."
