Walkthrough:

1. The story begins with the Protagonist transferring to Gekkoukan High School and moving into a dorm.
2. Upon discovering their ability to summon a Persona, the Protagonist is invited to join SEES and is eventually elected as its combat leader.
3. More Persona-users join SEES over time, including Junpei, Akihiko, and Fuuka, who becomes the team's support member.
4. The Protagonist is unique in his ability to wield multiple Personas, a power he can enhance by forming Social Links with others.
5. During full moon nights, powerful Shadows attack the city. It's revealed that ten years prior, the Kirijo Group's experiments with Shadows went awry, creating Tartarus and the Dark Hour.
6. SEES learns that defeating twelve greater Shadows will end Tartarus and the Dark Hour.
7. New members Ken and Koromaru join SEES. Aigis, an android created to fight Shadows, also joins after escaping her creators.
8. After defeating the twelfth Shadow, SEES discovers they were misled by Shuji Ikutsuki. Destroying the greater Shadows has inadvertently freed parts of Nyx, a being destined to end the world.
9. Ryoji Mochizuki, a transfer student, is revealed to be the Death Shadow, an incomplete creation from the Kirijo Group's experiments. Aigis had sealed this Shadow within the Protagonist when he was a child.
10. Ryoji explains that Nyx cannot be defeated, but offers to erase SEES's memories of the Dark Hour and Tartarus if they kill him.
11. The player must choose whether to kill Ryoji or spare him.
12. If Ryoji is killed, the game ends with SEES losing their memories, unaware of the impending doom brought by Nyx.
13. If Ryoji is spared, SEES confronts the Nyx Avatar on January 31. Though they defeat the Avatar, Nyx continues to descend.
