Game Basics

Strafing: Allows you to side-step enemy fire and cut corners faster. Use the Left and Right C buttons.

Head Shots: Aim for the head or face to take down enemies faster, save ammo, and be stealthy.

Always take cover: Use crates or walls for protection while reloading or to save health.

Always try to be stealthy: If enemies cannot see you, they cannot kill you. Sneak up on enemies for silent takedowns.

Try to use any secondary option when possible: Using secondary functions, like a pistol-whip, saves ammo and helps maintain stealth.

Don't use a loud weapon in a room with many guards: Use silenced weapons in rooms with multiple guards to avoid attracting attention.

Run away: When overwhelmed, retreat to rethink strategy, reload, or find health/armor. Guards may not follow far.

Use the Automatic aiming mechanism: The game automatically aims for the nearest enemy (90% of the time), useful for engaging multiple targets or when overwhelmed.

Use the Red-Targeting system: Sights turn red and a noise indicates a potential head-shot. Shooting when red almost guarantees a head-shot.

Play the Solo Missions as Co-op instead of by yourself: Playing solo missions in Co-op mode with a friend or a Simulant doubles firepower and effectiveness, making objectives easier and faster to complete.
