Part 23

Head to the far wall and hit the switch to the right.

Go past the light hanging from the ceiling to the area the enemy came from.

Take a right and find the second and last switch near a board.

Warning: The enemy will come this way; submerge and move around the board to stay out of sight.

Return to the live wires; they will now be shut off.

Head onward and jump the gap to move the board forward, separating you from the enemy.

Continue forward to an area with a minecart.

Push the minecart down the hill.

Find the switch and wait for the minecart to pass and head back up.

Flip the switch so the minecart goes straight and breaks through the boards.

Note: If the minecart puzzle fails, push it down, pull it back before the switch, flip it left, drag it back up the hill, and then let it proceed.

Warning: An apparition will charge you after the boards break.

Keep going to a dead end where the cart crashes.

Go left and down the ladder.

At the bottom, you will see a sign that says "800 FT".

Warning: A chase sequence will begin; run forward and start crawling.

When presented with a left/right path choice, go right.

Emerge and head right onto narrow beams.

Warning: You will fall into water; keep going forward.

Aim for the campfire in the distance, veering right after the middle column.

Climb up past the campfire and head right to drop into another lake area.

To the left is a ladder, but first, find a hidden document.

Go right to find a crack in the wall. Shimmy through into a dead-end area.

In the back of this dead-end area, find the [_THE ATHEIST_] document on the floor by a corpse.

Return to the ladder and go up it.

Get under the beams and move forward, climbing two smaller ladders on scaffolding.

Drop down to a beam, move forward, duck under more beams, and pull yourself up twice.

Move across one last beam to solid ground; the game will auto-save here.

Head forward to an open area and collect [_KNOTH'S GOSPEL CH. 15_] on the ground by a corpse.

Note: Collecting this document should also grant the "Ordination" Gold Trophy for collecting all documents.

Continue up the slope on a linear path until you are forced downward.

A scene will play where a woman blows dust into your face and takes your camera.

Enjoy the scenes until you reach the SCHOOL.

At the school, more scenes will play until you regain control.

Head forward until someone stops you. Watch the scenes.

Walk away down the hall until you hear screams.

Turn around and run back to the classroom door, which will be open.

Head through the door, go right, turn right again at the far corner, and proceed to the next door.

Open the door to watch a final scene, leading into Chapter 6: Revelations.
