Details: Using a police cruiser, you must dodge 6 spike strips and evade the police to successfully complete this challenge.

Challenge Number 45

Event Type: Tollbooth Time Trial

How to Unlock: Beat challenge 43 or 44

Details: Participate in this closed course time trial, the annual pursuit skills competition. The Bayview police hold the record at 3:35. You represent Rockport's best.

Vehicle: State Pursuit Vehicle

Description: Upon reaching 22% the course forks; take the path to the right for the longest straight section. At 37%, look left and take the shortcut, staying left through it. At 53%, the course splits again; stay left and enter a tunnel crossover to the right-hand lanes for the fastest exit. At 65%, stay right as the course splits for the shortest and fastest turn. At 86%, stay right for the fastest and shortest entrance to the next section. At 90%, stay right to avoid taking the long way around the stadium.

How to Unlock: Beat challenge 45

Details: Reach the passenger in less than 4:30 before a rival cab driver does. This is a race against time to pick up a passenger urgently.

Vehicle: Taxi Cab

Description: At the start, stay left for the upcoming turn. At 57%, take the shortcut to your right. At 65%, stay in the middle of the fork and go down the path under the lighthouse. At 95%, ignore side paths due to the taxi cab's low speeds.

Details: Participate in this closed course time trial against the Bayview police department's record of 3:45.

Vehicle: Federal Pursuit Vehicle

Description: Ignore sidepaths near the start. At 8%, take the shortcut to the right. At 13%, take the shortcut to the left and get back onto the main road. At 34%, take the alley to the right and follow it to the main road. At 40%, take the dirt path to cut the upcoming turn early. At 53%, take the dirt path to the right for an easier turn. At 95%, take the dirt path in the middle that leads under the lighthouse for the best time advantage.
