Walkthrough
- 1Roll through the gap, jump up, and use the Spider Ball (a mode allowing Samus to cling to magnetic surfaces) to reach the ceiling.
- 2Bomb the ceiling, roll up through the gap, and jump up the shaft to the top.
- 3Jump to and roll through the gap, and jump up the shaft.
- 4Roll through the gap and shoot the Gryncore (an enemy) to open the door. Go through.

- 15Drop down into the lava, run left, and jump up to the missile expansion (ME55).
- 16Go through the door, roll through the gap under the platform, and drop down.
- 17Jump to the left wall and Screw Attack (a spinning attack) through the blocks above.
- 18Jump to the alcove and use the Spider Ball to attach to the blocks above. Use the bombs to remove the blocks and head up to the Energy Tank (ET7).
- 19Bomb and Screw Attack through the blocks below, drop down, and go through the door.
- 20Run right and jump to the Save Station. Save, drop down, and roll through the narrow passageway on the left wall to the Teleport Station. Warp to the first Teleport Station in Area 5.
