Guide your way through the Dantius Towers Entrance in Mass Effect. Learn enemy tactics, item locations, and how to handle the Salarian Worker objective.

Alright, we're heading into the Dantius Towers Entrance. This is where things start to get a bit more intense with the Eclipse mercenaries and mechs. Stick close, and we'll get through this.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
First things first, talk to Seryna and let her know you're ready. She'll warp you right into the Dantius Towers. As soon as you arrive, you'll need to shoot through the glass and deal with the initial mechs. Keep pushing forward, grab any items you see in the west, and then make your way east.
  2. 2
Your first major objective here is to reach the Salarian Worker. You'll have a choice: you can help them out with a Paragon interrupt or a Paragon dialogue choice, or you can just leave them to their fate. It's up to you how you want to play this.
  3. 3
After that, you'll run into groups of Mechs and Eclipse mercenaries. If you're playing on a harder difficulty, watch out – the Troopers will have Shields, and the Vanguards will have Barriers, plus they'll be throwing biotics at you. The mechs themselves will also have armor. Don't expect any items until you get past the door into the next section.
  4. 4
The next area is pretty narrow, so enemies will be funneling towards you. It's really important to keep your squadmates close. If they get too far ahead, they can get overwhelmed by the mercs and mechs. Once you've cleared out the enemies, check the west side of the map for items. You'll find the Viper Sniper Rifle here. It's a bit of an odd weapon, more like a zoomable pistol than a traditional sniper rifle. There are also some Salarians hiding behind a bypassable door with more items.
  5. 5
When you open the elevator door, enemies are going to come right at you. Listen to your squad – they'll tell you to get behind cover. Head back to the cover spots on the eastern side of the level and pull your squad back a bit too. On higher difficulties, engineers will spam Incinerate and Drones, and the Bounty Hunter will rush you with their shotgun and melee attacks, which can be deadly.
Tips
  • Keep an eye out for the Secure Terminals and Secure Lockers scattered around. They'll require bypassing, but they often hold valuable loot.
  • On harder difficulties, prioritize taking down the Engineers first, as their Incinerate and Drones can be a real nuisance.
  • The Viper Sniper Rifle is a unique addition. While not a traditional sniper, its zoom function can be useful for picking off targets from a distance in these tighter corridors.
