Master the Main, Pause, Options, and Map Menus in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PC Port. Learn how to control game settings, access content, and navigate Chronopolis.

This guide breaks down the various menus available in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PC Port, detailing their functions and options.

Main Menu

• New Game: Start a new game.
• Load Game: Load a previously saved game.
• Options: View the Options Menu.
• Additional Content: View DLC options.
• Quit to Windows: Exit the game to Windows.
• Language: Adjust the printed language in the game.

Pause Menu

• Resume: Get back to the game.
• Options: Opens Options Menu.
• Extras: Opens Extras menu, where you can select purchased extras, enter secret codes, and view your photo gallery.
• Open Map: While in Chronopolis, switch to the Map Screen.
• Go to Customizer: While in Chronopolis, teleport to the Customizer in the Avengers Mansion.
• Go to Battle Arenas: While in Chronopolis, teleport to the Battle Arenas in the Avengers Mansion.
• Quit to Chronopolis: Use this while in a mission to quit back to Chronopolis. If you've made progress in Free Play, be sure to "Save & Exit" to record found items.
• Quit Game: Return to the Main Menu.
• Quit to Windows: Exits the game to Windows.

Additionally, the Pause Menu allows you to view the Character Card of your current character. Press Y to flip the card and view the reverse side, which displays the character's powers and a short bio.

Options Menu (from Main Menu)

• Control Setup: Adjust button inputs for commands.
• Audio Settings: Adjust volume for music, effects, dialogue, and subtitles.
• Video Settings: Change graphics settings for performance.
• Effect Settings: Change effects for performance.

Additional Options (from Pause Menu)

• Vibration: Set controller vibration.
• Hints: Configure hint frequency (first time, all the time, or not at all).
• Splitscreen Mode: Choose between "Dynamic" (adjusts with character proximity) or "Fixed Vertical" (always separated by a vertical line).
• Controller Axis Setup: Change Y-axis settings.

Map Screen

While in Chronopolis, the Map Screen provides an overview of travelable areas. Initially, movement is restricted, but the entire map opens up after six missions. Icons indicate destinations you can set. To move between tabs, press LB and RB.

• Map: The main screen.
• Levels: Access Story Missions and Gwenpool Missions to replay in Story or Free Play.
• Extras: Find DLC Missions as they are added.
• Challenges: View all in-game Challenges and their requirements.
