Princess Peach is one of the racers you can pick right from the start in Mario Kart DS. She's a Light weight character, which is a bit different from other games where she might be medium weight. In this game, she's actually the heaviest of the lightweights, so she's got a good balance of speed and handling. When you race as Peach, you'll have access to three karts: the Royale, the Standard PC, and her unlockable kart, the Light Tripper. Peach also has two tracks named after her: * Peach Gardens: This one is in the Special Cup. * Peach Circuit: This is a returning track from Mario Kart: Super Circuit and you'll find it in the Shell Cup. Keep an eye out, because Peach is also the staff ghost for Delfino Square, Peach Gardens, and GBA Peach Circuit. You'll be racing against her ghost on these tracks when you're trying to beat the best times! Plus, Peach shows up in a lot of the missions in Mission Mode, so you'll be seeing a lot of her throughout the game.
