Banana Cup

Master the Banana Cup in Mario Kart DS with tips for Donut Plains 1, Frappe Snowland, Bowser Castle 2, and Baby Park.

Courses in the Banana Cup:

1. Donut Plains 1 (SNES)

   This opening course is easy if you know how to drift and power slide (you should by now). The entire track is wide with somewhat tight turns, manageable by drifting around them and power sliding as the road becomes straight again. Avoid getting stuck in dirt areas or falling into water.

2. Frappe Snowland (N64)

   This icy course is not necessarily hard, but it's easy to get stuck or hit an obstacle. Many tight turns are good for drifting and power sliding, as you'll end up in the snow if you don't at least drift. In the wide open area, swerve around snowmen to avoid wiping out. Past this segment, the course is mostly straightforward. Drift around another turn, then the final turn goes across a bridge. Do not fall off the bridge.

3. Bowser Castle 2 (GBA)

   This is one of the easier Bowser Castle courses. There are plenty of straight, non-obstructive lanes, but the turns are sharp; drift and power slide around them. Steer around Thwomps, which shouldn't pose a real threat. Use boost pads to jump over smaller lava pits. The second part where you have to jump over pits can get tricky, so stay to the center to avoid falling into the lava.

4. Baby Park (GCN)

   The final course is a remake of the easiest course in GCN Mario Kart. Baby Park is a simple loop with two straight paths and two tight turns. Power slide around each turn and speed up on the straight paths.
