Kart Unlockables

Unlock every kart in Mario Kart Double Dash by earning Gold trophies in Grand Prix modes. Learn all requirements here.

Each Character's Third Kart:

1. Complete the Nitro Grand Prix on 100cc.
2. Earn Gold trophies in each cup.

Select From 7 Karts:

1. Complete the Nitro Grand Prix on 150cc.
2. Earn Gold trophies in each cup. This unlocks the ability to choose from that character's own karts, plus some other random ones.

Select From All Karts:

1. Complete the Retro Grand Prix on 150cc Mirror mode.
2. Earn Gold trophies in each cup. This allows you to pick from all karts from all other characters, as well as your own.
