Keystone Walls

Exit the area and head left to find a Checkpoint Crystal.

Descend the stairs, dealing with Infected enemies. In the courtyard, defeat the two Infected and the patrolling Marauder. Use the stairs for cover if needed.

Approach the large locked gate in the courtyard.

Climb the stairs on the right platform, defeat the Marauder, and pull the lever.

Climb the stairs on the left platform, defeat the Rogue enemy, and pull the lever.

Rogue Combat Strategy: Rogues have shields. Wait for them to attack, dodge, and then strike once or twice. Leap attacks offer the best window. Strafing and getting behind them opposite the shield arm can also create openings.

Once both levers are pulled, the gate will open. Proceed through the opening.

Immediately after the gate, you'll encounter an Injured Monk. Speak with him.

Agree to cut off his arm. You can choose to give him one of your potions. Doing so grants 500XP and a Butcher Axe, and unlocks a side-quest for improved potions and more XP later. This consumes one potion.

Head through the door just past the monk to the left.

At the base of the stairs, defeat the two Baby Spiders.

Open the nearby treasure chest to find pieces of the Hot Blood Armour Set (Head and Chest).

Take the next set of stairs down. Before entering the tunnel, turn left and take another set of stairs down.

Open the door at the bottom.

Proceed along the wall to encounter your first Crossbowman.

Crossbowman Combat Strategy: Crossbowmen are fragile but dangerous at range. Dodge their bolts (and later, fire arrows and grenades). Close the distance quickly to defeat them with melee attacks. The gauntlet can be used for ranged combat later.

As you approach the Crossbowman, an Infected corpse will rise. Defeat it, then take down the Crossbowman.

Climb the stairs and enter the building.

Go through the small passage to the right of the locked gate. Be ready for an ambush by a Rogue just behind the door. Kill it near the entrance to avoid activating an Infected corpse further in.

Confront the first Crossbowman on the left.

Climb to the top of the North Watchtower to fight a Marauder.

After clearing the room, collect the Audio Note (Night Watch: Ninth Night) opposite the entrance.

Open the chest at the far side of the room with a rune to find an Attribute Point Shard and pieces of the Live Elements Armour Set (Head, Leg, and Wrist).

The door beside the chest is currently locked. Climb the stairs to the roof.

Defeat the Marauder waiting on the roof.

Note the stairs to the left leading to three Infected; this path leads back to the Injured Monk area.

Climb down the stairs to the right.

At the base of these stairs, look back towards the nearby gate and pull the lever to open a shortcut back to the North Watchtower.

Continue along the main wall.
