Chapter 3: The Residence

After riding the elevator with the Lady, climb the left side of the elevator shaft to the top, then jump back to the crane.

Swing on the crane for momentum and jump to the opening on the other side of the room.

Drop into the next room and crawl through an opening to reach the study.

Exit the study and continue right to the second hallway, follow it to the back of the area.

Climb the chair to reach the table, then jump and grab the light switch to turn it on.

Spot the Bottle [01/05] at the top of the bookshelf, climb up, and open it.

Return to the main hallway.

Enter the next room and slowly cross, staying crouched and close to the camera, to avoid the Lady.

Reach the foyer of the Lady's residence; it is now safe to walk normally.

Head up the stairs to the second floor.

Move the ladder on the left to the right to reach the third floor.

Pull the lever on the left to turn on the light of the apparatus.

Align the three beams of light with the three eyes on the ceiling using the button and lever at the base of the machine. The levers' positions are: Right Position (3 times), Middle Position (1 time), Left Position (3 times).

Head to the door on the right and shine the flashlight on another eye to open it.

Follow the hallway to a gallery with a wall full of portraits and buttons beneath them.

Press the buttons corresponding to the portraits that appeared on the wall in the previous room: #2, #3, #4, #6, #8.

In the next area, continue to the right side to find a hole leading to another Bottle [02/05].

Back in the main room, climb on the pedestal to grab the statue of the Lady.

Quickly drop to the floor and hide from the spotlight of the eye; do not be spotted or the Runaway Kid will turn to stone.

Wait for the eye to search right, then run left and stand in the shadow of the pillar for cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects).

Wait for a clear opening and toss the statue at the button on the wall to open the door.

Bring the statue back to the foyer and ride the lift down to the second floor.

Head down the stairs to the first floor and enter the room on the right.

Place the statue on the light-colored tile with a small triangular indentation (1 forward and 3 left of the pedestal in the center) to raise a new pedestal.

Return to the second floor and enter the library on the right.

Move the ladder to the left to climb to the top of the bookshelves.

Follow the bookshelves to find a book and toss it down.

Make your way back down to the ground.

Find the symbols on the side of the books that complete the image on the bookshelves. The correct placements are: the book in the center of the room on the back left bookshelf; the book from the top of the bookshelves on the back center bookshelf; the book closest to the camera on the right on the bookshelf closest to the right.

Enter the revealed hidden room and find another statue.

Cross to the room on the other side of the second floor to find a similar statue.

Upon picking up the new statue, the ceiling will begin to descend. Swap the new statue with the one you are carrying.

Carry the original statue downstairs and place it on the light-colored tile with the square indentation to raise another pedestal.

Return to the library on the second floor and grab the book in the left corner.

Backtrack to the room where you saw the Lady in front of the mirror.

Drop the book and quickly aim your flashlight at the creepy shadow creature until it vanishes.

Repeat this process on two more shadow creatures that appear.

Pick up the book and continue left down the hallway to the study.

Enter the room on the left and place the book in the bookshelf to the left of the elevator to reveal another hidden room.

Push the pot off the table in the hidden room to break it and unlock the Trophy/Achievement: Ashes to Ashes.

Return to the room where you saw the Lady.

Climb the table on the left to grab the key.

Carry the key back to the foyer and ride the lift to the third floor.

Unlock the door on the left side of the area.

Enter the hallway and head toward the camera to find another Bottle [03/05].

Backtrack and continue left to enter another room with shadow creatures.
