Episode IV: A New Hope

Complete walkthrough for Episode IV: A New Hope in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Includes Jundland Wastes, Mos Eisley, Death Star, and Yavin 4.

This Episode can be launched at any time. No need to play Episode III first.

We begin immediately with Boarding Party.

New Characters: C-3PO, R2-D2. Leia (Episode IV), Captain Antilles
New Ship: CR90 Corvette (Tantive IV)

Jundland Wastes -

Our droid friends have crashed into the Dune Sea, and you'll need to find your way to a settlement. Continue through the canyon until you reach a point to engage in a story section.

New Character: Luke Skywalker (Episode IV)

As Luke, follow Artoo into the wilderness. Once you hit the Tuskens, Ben will show up. Follow Ben to his home.

New Characters: Old Ben Kenobi (Tatooine - Hood), Old Ben Kenobi, Tusken Raider

Now head over to Tosche Station, where Luke's speeder is parked and head to...

Mos Eisley -

Before you can head very far in town, you'll be stopped at a checkpoint. Have Obi-Wan use a Mind Trick on the main trooper (hold the upper face button) and Influence him, then have him use the nearby Villain Terminal to open the gate. Go to the marked spot, Chalmun's Cantina.

Once inside, speak to the various patrons and one will mention Chewbacca. This initiates a fight against Ponda Baba and Dr. Evazan. Beat them up, and then you get Han as a pilot. Head to the south end of town to the marker to start Hunk of Junk.

Death Star -

New Characters: Han Solo (Episode IV), Sandtrooper (Commander), Sandtrooper (Sergeant), Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper), Han Solo (Stormtrooper)
New Ship: Millennium Falcon (Episode IV - VI)

We're now on the Death Star. Head in the indicated direction until you reach a Villain Terminal. Open it by copying the directions that you see. Once inside the next room, toss a grenade (the Interact button) at the silver box, and then use the Astromech Socket behind it. Press both red switches on the wall as quickly as you can to each other to get power flowing to the door outside that the trooper is banging on. You can now enter there and get upstairs to Best Leia'd Plans.

New Characters: Chewbacca, Han Solo (Stormtrooper - No Helmet), Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper - No Helmet)

You're back with Ben Kenobi and the droids. Head down the ramps towards the lowest floor. There are troopers on this level and they have vision cones, so don't walk into those. Avoid the troopers entirely and go to the southeast to find a ramp leading up. Artoo will tell you you're on the right path. Use the Astromech Socket to open the door. You can use the nearby Droid Turret with Threepio to clear the bridge out, and use the Force on the lever on the tractor beam generator. Hop over the gap and move around the back to start This Is Some Rescue.

Yavin 4 Space -

New Characters: Empire Captain, Stormtrooper (Empire Commander), Stormtrooper (Empire Sergeant)
New Ship: Luke Skywalker's T-65 X-Wing

From space, you can go to the surface of Yavin 4.

Great Temple -

Head upstairs inside the temple to the operations room and begin the last mission: Stay on Target.

New Characters: Luke Skywalker (Ceremony), Luke Skywalker (Rebel Pilot), Wedge Antilles

With this, you've now completed Episode IV. You can move on to Episode V if you wish. You also unlock Galaxy Free-Play if you haven't yet.
