Classes and Abilities

Explore Jedi, Hero, and Scavenger classes in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Learn about Telekinesis, Saber Cut, Mind Trick, Grapple, and more.

Jedi Abilities:

• Telekinesis - Hold the Interact button near objects with a blue line to pick them up. Some can be thrown by pressing the Shoot button. For puzzle-based objects, use the Left and Right Sticks for fine manipulation, like stacking crates to climb or lifting droid characters onto higher platforms.
• Saber Cut - Approach LEGO walls with squared-off lines and press Interact with a lightsaber to cut them open by tracing a shape. The cut can be any size, even a small square, and the rest of the wall will collapse.
• Saber Climb - Interact with sparkly blue strips on walls to embed your lightsaber and climb along them using the Left Stick, following the track.
• Mind Trick - Beings susceptible to mind tricks appear on the (minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen)) with a person icon and wi-fi signal. They emit blue or red mist. Hold the top face button to select options:
  • Distract: Makes the target dance, causing nearby people to dance too.
  • Influence: Allows you to control the target, enabling them to perform actions like pushing buttons or building.
  • Panic: Causes the target to attack nearby individuals for a short duration.
• Acrobatics - Perform extra aerial feats, grab and spin on wall poles, and run along walls with green footprints.

Hero Abilities:

• Grapple - Use on orange rails or plugs by looking at the target and pressing Interact. This can be done in the air. Grappling to a rail moves you to it quickly. Grappling to a plug initiates a quick (minigame) where pressing the button again yanks the plug out. Pressing the button when the marker is on the green circle yields a small (stud) reward.
• Hero Terminal - Heroes can access small orange computer consoles with the Rebel insignia by solving a directional input puzzle. As an input icon slides into the circle, press the corresponding direction.
• Disguise - Heroes can pick up armor pieces dropped by defeated (NPCs), primarily stormtroopers. Collecting three parts (shirt, pants, hat, or equivalent) allows the Hero to disguise themselves. A Hero disguised as a Villain gains all Villain skills and can pass by other Villains unnoticed.

Scavenger Abilities:

NOTE: Scavenger Tools are learned only via the Story. Opportunities to get other Scavengers may arise, but they will not have Tools. Tools can be learned during the Episode VI Mission "The Chewbacca Defense" or in Episode VII, shortly after "First Order of Business".

• Acrobatics - Perform extra aerial feats, grab and spin on wall poles, and run along walls with green footprints.
• Breaker Blaster - Hold Interact to open the Tools menu, select the Breaker Blaster, and fire with the Shoot button. This functions as a ranged weapon.
