    Enter Gol and Maia's Citadel through the door by the Zoomer pad.

    Free the Blue Sage: After the cutscene, hop on the first spinning disc. Jump left, defeat the Lurker. Proceed to another spinning disc, but hit the floor switch instead to create a bridge. Cross carefully, as platforms of the same color will fall when stepped on. Continue along scaffolding, take an off-shoot to the left, and hit another floor switch to create another bridge. Cross it. In the large chamber, ride Precursor platforms to a counter-clockwise turning platform, then time a jump to another counter-clockwise platform bombarded by a laser. Drop to a wooden ledge, roll-jump onto a spinning disc with a hole, then jump to a nearby Precursor platform. Wait for it to take you to a ledge. Step into the Blue Eco vent to raise unstable platforms. Hop quickly between them to the next ledge. Jump onto a platform, and when it moves under the laser, leap to the next platform. These will take you past a door; enter it. Smash the lantern-like object to free the Blue Sage and earn a Power Cell. Use the Blue Eco and platform to return to the start.

    Free the Red Sage: Return to the initial spinning disc and hop off to the right. Follow the path upward to a bridge; cross it carefully. Defeat the nearby Lurker. Head for the hourglass-shaped spinning platform, hop on, then jump to a quarter platform to your right, and then to another quarter platform above it. Continue leaping between fragmented platforms until you reach a colored bridge switch. Cross the tricky bridge (refer to King Kool's Bridge Solution map on GameFAQs if needed). Upon entering the room, you'll be swarmed by mini-Lurkers. Use the Yellow Eco vent to charge up and defeat them and the Precursor Orb chests. Switch to Red Eco and go Rambo on the Lurkers, repeatedly mashing Circle to spin kick. Break the three lanterns at the end of the room to unlock the next door. Hop across more fractional platforms, waiting for them to emerge from the wall before jumping. Reach the other side, smash the lantern to free the Red Sage and a Power Cell. Use the Blue Eco and platform to return to the bottom.

    Free the Yellow Sage: Go back to the spinning disc near the entrance and jump left. Follow the path you previously ignored. Defeat the Lurker, then leap to a fractional platform, then a half-platform, then a second half-platform. Roll-jump to the next ledge and enter the door. Use the Blue Eco vent to open the Precursor Orb hatch. In the room with Blue Eco launch pads (some stationary, some moving), launch yourself from pad to pad, using refills, to reach the other side. Open the Precursor Orb hatch if you have enough time, otherwise, run through the door. Destroy the electric lantern to free the Yellow Sage.

    Free the Green Sage: If you've freed the other Sages, floating platforms will appear behind the main room. Ascend these to reach fractional platforms on the wall. Climb them quickly. Wait for a giant mechanical arm to swing near, jump on, climb to the top, and wait for the next arm. Repeat until you reach the top of the machine and find the last lantern. Break it to free the Green Sage.

    Free 7 Scout Flies: The Scout Flies in this area are relatively easy to find. The first is on your right immediately upon entering the citadel.
Tips
  • Be extremely cautious when crossing the colored bridges, as stepping on one color causes all platforms of that same color to fall.
  • When facing lasers, time your jumps carefully to avoid being hit.
  • In the room with the Red Eco vent, utilize the Red Eco's power for aggressive combat against the Lurkers.
  • For the fractional platforms, wait for them to fully extend from the wall before jumping to maximize your time.
