4j. PRECURSOR BASIN

Herd the Moles into Their Hole: After mounting the Zoomer, drive into the basin. Locate the four red moles and chase each one until it dives underground. They are all in the same general area. Return to the Geologist in Rock Village for a Power Cell.

Catch the Flying Lurkers: Within the basin, find and catch the four fast, purple Flying Lurkers. Two are in the first area, and two are through the tunnel. Stay dedicated to one Lurker at a time and use R1 to jump and ram them when close enough. A Power Cell is your reward.

Beat Record Time on the Gorge: Find the tunnel with a checkered flag. Driving through it starts a 45-second race. Learn the course by playing it once. Navigate through pistons, avoid Dark Eco crates, and grab Blue Eco for speed boosts. If you hit a Lurker, you can be propelled to a higher ledge. Hit the checkered flag within the time limit to earn a Power Cell from the Gambler in Rock Village.

Get the Power Cell Over the Lake: In the second part of the basin (through the tunnel), drive up the grassy ramp near the tunnel. Follow the path, hopping gaps. On the last ledge, back up your Zoomer, gain speed, and jump off the edge to reach the Power Cell.

Cure Dark Eco Infected Plants: In the second part of the basin, find the cluster of purple plants in the back-right corner. Use Green Eco from a nearby vent to purify them. You'll need to repeatedly charge up, drive through the plants, and return to the vent to recharge. Be quick, as uncured plants can re-infect cured ones. A Power Cell is awarded upon completion.

Navigate the Purple Precursor Rings: Atop a hill in the first area, drive through a purple ring of light. This creates another ring ahead, and so on. The goal is to fly through a series of these rings.
