4l. VOLCANIC CRATER

Upon arriving at the Volcanic Crater, cross the broken bridge to the Red Sage's lab. Enter and hit the floor switch for a cutscene and instructions.

To get Power Cells from the miners: Leave the Red Sage's hut, cross the bridge (not the one back to Mountain Pass), and enter the large cave. Talk to the two miners. They each have Power Cells for 90 Precursor Orbs. Explore the crater and surrounding areas to gather enough Orbs.

To get Power Cells from the Oracle: After leaving the miners' cave, turn right. Hop onto the ledge above, then dash towards the Precursor Orbs, avoiding steaming pits. Follow the ledges down to find the Oracle. The Oracle requires 120 Precursor Orbs per Power Cell. Explore the Volcanic Crater, Spider Cave, and Snowy Mountain to find enough Orbs.

To find the hidden Power Cell: Locate the entrance to Spider Cave. From the miners' cave, go left, past the gondola and platforms, to a mine cart on the train tracks. Ride the carts to the far side of the crater. Look behind the train tracks for a metal chest on a high ledge.

To break the chest: Find the Yellow Eco vent near the Spider Cave entrance. Climb to the ledge above and to the right of the vent. Charge up with Yellow Eco. Drop to the ledge below, roll-jump over the Dark Eco river, and roll-jump back to the Volcanic Crater. Use single jumps to reach the train tracks, then enter first-person view to blast the chest.

To free the 7 Scout Flies:

• One is on a small ledge below your entry point from the Mountain Pass, near the rope bridge to the Red Sage's lab.

Another is hidden behind a rock slab in the miners' cave.

One is on a platform in the middle of magma on the path to the Oracle.

From the miners' cave, go left past the gondola to find thin platforms leading to the railroad tracks; a Scout Fly is on one.

Continue from the previous location, hop onto a mine cart, and wait for it to circle the tracks. A Scout Fly is on a ledge you'll pass.

Ride the mine carts to the far side of the crater (near Spider Cave entrance). Another Scout Fly is on a ledge on the furthest track.

Continue on the mine carts towards Spider Cave. The last Scout Fly is on a ledge very close to the cave entrance.
