Find all bosses and epic chests in The Forgelands region of Immortals Fenyx Rising. Learn how to defeat Pyrakmon and get Phosphor's heat core.

Optional/Hidden Bosses:

Pyrakmon, Legendary Cyclops

This legendary creature is found directly on top of Sisyphos's cage vault. As a Cyclops, it has a much higher stun gauge and health than normal enemies. Recommended gear includes the Brood of Typhon helm, Breast plate of eagle armor, and Cyclone sword, all at level 4 or 5, to maximize damage, stun, and combos. Use fully charged Aries' Wrath 2-3 times to stun him. After taking damage, heal immediately and use air or ground sword combos, building the combo to the red stage before he recovers. Charge another Aries' Wrath just before he gets up to instantly stun him at a high combo. Repeat this to stun lock him until defeated. The reward for this fight is Phosphor's heat core.

Talos, The Legendary Rebuilt Automaton

Located east above the ledge where the Small Lyre one is. This boss is an enhanced version of an automaton enemy with new attacks. It is easily stunned by a fully charged Aries' Wrath. Use the same strategy recommended for Pyrakmon. The reward for defeating Talos is Burnished Phosphor.

Lieutenant Steropes

A souped-up Cyclops found in the very southeast corner of this region. It is a weaker version of Pyrakmon, so use the same defeat method. The reward is the Sharp fire wings.

Lieutenant Brontes

Found deep down in a chasm northwest of the Forge of the Gods. This is another souped-up Cyclops and is the weakest of its kind encountered. The reward for defeating Lieutenant Brontes is Ravishing wings.

Ophinokos of Legend

The Legendary Griffon is located very close to Hera's throne. Despite its size, it is one of the weakest Legendary enemies. It primarily stays in the sky and has low health. Use Phosphor to bombard it while you snipe, and use Aries' Wrath for an easy stun if it comes low enough. The reward is carnivorous Phosphor.

Polyphemos the Mythical Cyclops

This is the Mythical boss for this region and the hardest to stun. While the basic strategy for other Cyclops bosses can be used, it is highly recommended to have over 10 health chunks as Polyphemos deals significant damage. Ensure your gear is level 5 or 6 for maximum effectiveness. Polyphemos is larger, slower, and takes much longer to stun than a normal Cyclops, wielding a club with long and close-range attacks. Its legs are its most vulnerable points. Land as many Aries's Wrath attacks as possible to stun it quickly, mixing in Phosphor, your axe, and other powers while avoiding hits. Remember to buff up before the fight. When stunned, its helmet comes off, making its head a target for increased damage, especially with air combos. Despite its high stun gauge, it does not have much health. The reward is a mythical fragment.

Epic Chests:

Chest 1

Found in the northern part of the southwestern wall separating this region from the Grove of Kleos. From the border, go west to find a small path near 3 robot statues leading underground into ruins. Proceed further, ignoring the terminal for now. Break the wall on the right and follow the path to a fence. Pull the metal cube behind the fence onto the pedestal. Backtrack to where you broke the wall, look up to see the opened gate, and pull the cube to you before the gate closes. Return to the terminal, place the cube in the doorway, and crawl under the now-opened North doorway. Go underwater to open the chest, which contains the Plate of the Ethereal Automaton, suitable armor for a tank build.

Chest 2 / Night Chest

Located west of the goal for Navigation challenge 1. This chest is guarded by 2 Automatons and 2 Harpies. It contains a Midnight Fragment.

Chest 3 / Guarded Chest

Southwest of Chest 2. Guarded by a Chimera, 2 soldiers, and 2 harpies. The chest contains a second color for the Shining sword.

Chest 4

Almost directly next to Chest 3, found by climbing over the rock formation behind it. Climb up and destroy the corruption crystals to reveal a metal cube and a pyre. Break a wall on the left to reveal another pyre. On the roof here is another cube on top of an automaton statue. Go back down and light both pyres by throwing the cubes down. Two barriers will be lifted. Throw the cubes into the windows to activate two pedestals and open the ruins door. Go inside and open the chest to get a second color for the Brood of Typhon helm.

Chest 5

Found east of Navigation challenge 1. The puzzle requires pulling a lever and lighting all pyres within a time limit. Due to the time constraint and difficulty reaching pyres with the arrow, the Precision control skill, which slows down the arrow, is recommended for easier aiming. The chest contains a new color for the Brood of Typhon armor.

Chest 6 / Guarded Chest

Found east of Odysseus challenge 1. Guarded by a hecatonchires, harpies, and soldiers. The chest contains a new color for the Cyclone sword.

Chest 7

Found east of the In Defiance of Perseus vault. Defeat the enemies here. To unlock this chest, you need to place 3 m
