City of Tears Part 4

Find the Wanderer's Journal, sell items to Relic Seeker Lemm, and upgrade your Nail in Hollow Knight's City of Tears.

You will find a Wanderer's Journal here. You can use your Dream Nail (a tool to interact with spirits) on a spirit. A Rancid Egg is located on the fourth floor, and a Bench (a place to rest and save your progress) is at the top.

To the right of the Bench, there is a fake wall that leads to the Resting Grounds. Go past the fountain, near the exit towards the Royal Waterways, to sell your items to Relic Seeker Lemm (an NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you), or non-player character). Go all the way left and upgrade your Nail (your primary weapon) at the Nailsmith. You should have 2 Pale Ore for this upgrade. Finally, unlock the elevator that leads to the Forgotten Crossroads on the top left side of the map, and take it.
