City of Tears Part 2

First things first, exit the Stag Station. You'll want to head down to the right-hand balconies. Look for a Whispering Root here – use your Dream Nail on it! This will give you a nice chunk of 28 Essence to collect around this area. Just a heads-up, collecting it involves a fair bit of jumping, and those buildings down below on either side have spiked roofs that'll hurt if you touch 'em. Plus, you'll run into Vengeflies, Winged Sentries, and Lance Sentries. It's a good idea to clear them out before you go grabbing all that Essence.

Once you've snagged all the Essence, make your way up to the highest balcony. Inside the room up there, you'll find a Simple Key. Grab it!

With the Simple Key in hand, head all the way to the right. Drop down until you find Relic Seeker Lemm. He's the guy who buys all your junk – sell him any extra collectibles you've picked up since you were last here to get some Geo.

After visiting Lemm, head down just a bit further. You'll see a stand with an open slot. This is where you'll use the Simple Key you just found. Slotting it in here unlocks the entrance to the Royal Waterways.
