Follow our comprehensive walkthrough to navigate the Lymbic Forge in Hell is Us, detailing how to solve puzzles, find key items like Sigils and Gears, and progress through the Sluice area.
Walkthrough
- 1Enter the forge, defeat the Hollow Walker, and save. Follow the bridges to the main hall.
- 2In the main hall, note the Barracks (left), the sigil door (ahead), and the pathway to the library/living quarters (right).
- 3To open the sigil door, head right to the living area. Find the room with a fireplace. Activate the north wall torches, then the south wall torch. The fireplace will lift, revealing the Order of the Eye sigil.
- 4Head left from the main hall, follow the corridor to a large room with a staircase. Defeat enemies.
- 5Continue through the next corridor, open the doors at the end, and jump into the pit containing two Hollow Walkers. The pit holds the Order of the Phol Guard sigil.
- 6With both sigils, return to the sigil door and open it to enter the Sluice area.
- 7In the Sluice, the area is filled with water. The goal is to activate levers at the water control system at the back, guarded by Hollow Walkers. Clear them out and interact with the machine.
- 8To drain water, you need items. First, face the machine, turn left, defeat Hollow Walkers, and loot the skeleton for the Key - Owl.
- 9Use the Owl Key to open the owl door near the fireplace puzzle. Enter and proceed.
- 10In the room above, you'll find a Walker, Capacitor loot, an Old Sketchbook (Research Item), and a Lymbic Chest (Library Mystery) that requires a Rod later.
- 11Take the left tunnel pathway to a locked door. Open the left door for a shortcut back to the main hallways, and the door straight ahead leads back to the Sluice room. Enter the Sluice room again.
- 12In the Sluice room, turn right. Kill the Hollow Walker. Against the right wall is a chest containing the Gear - Spoked.
- 13Take the Gear - Spoked back to the Sluice mechanism and place it in the slot near the left lever. Activate the lever to lower the water level.
- 14Explore further: Drop down to the pathway where Hollow Walkers are. Defeat them. Find the entrance marked 'Chapel' and enter. A gate will lock behind you.
- 15Follow the corridor. You'll encounter a group of Hollow Walkers. Clear them.
- 16A pathway leads to a dead end with a gate containing the Lymbic Rod - Terror, X. Do not miss it.
- 17Find the door with a Crying Eye symbol. Use the Key - Crying Eye (obtained from the Dorms on the left side of the main sigil door area) to open it. If you don't have it, find the dorms on the staircase above where you found the Sigil - Order.
- 18Entering opens the Second Library. Follow the path to a Chapel-like location with a time loop guardian, defensive gear, and other pickups.
- 19Inside the chapel, climb the staircase on the other side to reach a spot where you can run and fall onto the sermon balcony.
- 20On the balcony, head inside. Find the Gear - Large, used on the Sluice.
- 21In this part of the library, also find the Lymbic Rod - Rage, W (for the Lymbic Chest in the Owl door library area) and the Lymbic Rod - Neutral, V (opens the Lymbic Chest in the Dorms area). Some doors lead to Timeloop guardians.
- 22A pathway underneath the balcony provides items and a way back to the Sluice. Place the Gear - Large in the remaining lever slot to fully empty the Sluice area.
- 23Enter the room at the back of the now-drained Sluice, descend the elevator, and fight the boss at the bottom.
- 24After defeating the boss, collect the Hammer of Modus from the sarcophagus.
- 25Take the Hammer of Modus back to the Sluice mechanism to open the final door. You will also find an Amine Prism - Sigma and an investigation crafting Tome for Victor.
