Separated: Jeljin

Follow our comprehensive walkthrough for the Separated good deed in Hell is Us, detailing how to find Jeljin's sister and brother, defeat challenging enemies, and claim your reward.

You can start the Separated good deed by speaking to two NPCs. One is on the rooftops of the Chapel, and the other is near the tomb area, accessible via the Archeological Field site and tunnels. Emerge from the tunnels and look right of the exit to find the sister. To help her, you need to clear the area ahead.

The area contains a Terror creature, several Hollow Walkers, a tanky enemy, normal Hollow Walkers, ranged enemies, and a Grief ranged enemy near the Tomb exit. To manage this encounter, consider using:

• Aster’s Band of Domination (10-second stun on all enemies in a 10m range).
• Drone Module - Distract on the ranged enemy.
• Glyph - Fury for cleave damage, especially with enemies linked by a Terror Cord.
• Glyph - Shriek of Terror (chargeable damage in a line, enhanced version from Lethe - National Library).
• Glyph Overwhelm (chargeable AOE stun if using a Grief weapon).
• Glyph Eager Embrace (ecstasy dash with a long stun).
• Knell of Fading Terror (active relic from The Depths of Hell in Marastan to temporarily banish terror lymbic entities).

These tips make enemies more manageable. Learn enemy attack patterns, dodge effectively, and utilize crowd control (CC) effects.

Second Fight

After clearing the outer tomb area, proceed uphill towards the Sword Tomb. You must defeat a ranged enemy on scaffolding. You can do this via:

1. Ranged attack using abilities like Pain Spike, Lymbic Slivers, or Shriek of Terror with a full Lymbic Power bar.
2. Melee approach: Obtain the Crane Key from the blockade below where you find the Brother. Use the Crane Key on the crane to lower the platform, granting access to the next level. Deal with the enemies guarding the next puzzle, then reach the rear ladder to fight the enemy on the platform.

Defeating this enemy completes the quest. The sister can then move towards the chapel, and the brother can escape.

Reward

Upon completing the Separated good deed, return to the Vyssa and speak to the Vigil Elder to receive the Glyph - Overwhelm - Enhanced, a powerful Grief glyph with an AOE stun charge.
