Aspect of Zagreus - Twin Fists:

The Aspect of Zagreus for the Twin Fists offers an outstanding balance of offense and durability by buffing evasion. With the right boon setup, the basic Fists can already inflict sufficient damage, making this Aspect a strong choice without needing further Aspect buffs or Keepsakes.

Boons:

• Attack Boons: High-volume Attack boons are excellent. The preferred order is Lightning Strike, Divine Strike, then Frost Strike.
  • Lightning Strike (Zeus): Spreads damage via chain lightning. The Legendary boon Splitting Bolt (requires Storm Lightning, which doesn't need other lightning boons) adds a 40-damage bolt per strike, significantly boosting damage. This approach helps secure Lambent Plume buffs and can trigger Privileged Status with Jolted effects.
  • Divine Strike (Athena): Reliably wards off projectiles and synergizes with the Aspect of Zagreus's defensive nature. It provides access to Deadly Reversal (Athena/Artemis Duo boon) for significant damage spikes after a deflection. Prioritize the Exposed effect boon to maintain Privileged Status.
  • Frost Strike (Demeter): Spreads Chill, slowing enemies and increasing reaction time. Lacks significant Duo boon synergies but offers strong crowd control.
• Dash Boons: Defensive Dash boons are generally preferred.
  • Divine Dash (Athena): Ideal if not running Divine Strike, especially with Exposed attached.
  • Passion Dash (Aphrodite): Useful if you lack a consistent Weak effect elsewhere.
  • Mistral Dash (Demeter): Recommended when using Lightning Strike.
  • Dionysus's Aid: A good supplement if using a non-Status Dash or Lightning Strike without Jolt to trigger Privileged Status.
  • Hunter Dash (Artemis): Can boost Attack chain damage with dash strikes, but the defensive benefits of other dashes often outweigh its offensive potential, especially since Hunter Dash cannot apply status curses.

Upgrades:

• Prioritize Attack-oriented upgrades for Malphon. Heavy Knuckle and Lightning Strike do not synergize well.
• Breaching Cross: Highly recommended for Aspect of Zagreus. It excels at staggering enemies and quickly removes armored enemies' protection, speeding up encounters and earning extra Lambent Plume boosts.
• Long Knuckle: A good complementary upgrade.
• Other viable options include Colossus Knuckle, Concentrated Knuckle, Rolling Knuckle, and possibly Draining Cutter.

Special Attack:

• Generally, the Fists' Special can be ignored unless you have the Draining Cutter upgrade, which allows it to be used as a finishing move for life restoration. In that case, Heartbreak Flourish is a solid option for damage.

Aspect of Talos - Magnet Cutter:

• The Special becomes Magnet Cutter, pulling enemies in for damage and applying a 50% Attack and Cast damage debuff for 4 seconds.
• Magnet Cutter is useful for isolating enemies early on but becomes less effective as runs progress due to faster enemy spawns. The debuff helps maintain its utility.
