Good Boons:

Aphrodite

• Empty Inside – Weak debuff lasts 5 seconds longer.
• Sweet Surrender – Weak debuff makes enemies 10% more susceptible to damage.
• Broken Resolve – Weak debuff makes enemy attacks an additional 10% less damaging.

Weak is a powerful debuff against strong enemies, and these boons enhance its duration and effectiveness.

Ares

• Blood Frenzy – After using Death Defiance, deal 15% more damage for the remainder of the encounter.

This boon provides a significant damage spike for late-game boss fights, especially when combined with multiple Death Defiances and the Lucky Tooth Keepsake.

Artemis

• Support Fire – Fire a seeking arrow for 10 damage after an Attack, Cast, or Special hits an enemy.

Support Fire is most effective with high-frequency attacks like the Adamant Rail, Fists, or certain Shield/Bow specials. It can be combined with Pressure Points and Hunter's Mark for consistent critical hit chances and to unlock the Fully Loaded Legendary boon.

Athena

• Sure Footing – Resist 60% damage from traps.

This boon is particularly useful for mitigating trap damage, especially when facing increased trap damage from the Pact of Punishment.

• Blinding Flash – Deflect abilities also make enemies Exposed for 5 seconds, taking +50% damage from backstab.

When paired with Divine Dash on melee builds, Blinding Flash can create significant damage opportunities against resilient foes and bosses by enabling backstab damage.

• Deathless Stand – Death Defiance makes you impervious for +2 seconds upon use, replenish 1 Death Defiance.
• Last Stand – Death Defiance replenishes +10% health upon use, replenish 1 Death Defiance.

Both boons offer valuable benefits upon using Death Defiance, either by providing temporary invincibility or by replenishing health and an additional Death Defiance charge.

Demeter

• Rare Crop – Random boon(s) are selected and made into Common boons, then gain a rarity tier every 3 encounters until Heroic.

Rare Crop is beneficial throughout a run, especially in areas like Styx where encounters are frequent, allowing boons to quickly upgrade in rarity.
