Learn about dodging, Pollo Power, Dimension Swap, and detailed enemy stats and strategies for Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition in Part 9 of our walkthrough.
- 1Dodge: Ground dodges result in a sideways roll, which is faster than running. Many fire attacks cannot be dodged. Air dodges only become rolls if they hit the ground. Successfully dodging grants 2 combo points. Dodges can interrupt most non-throw attacks and can be interrupted by anything, useful for canceling lag on certain moves.
- 2Pollo Power: Found in Desierto Caliente. Transforms you into a chicken, allowing passage through small spaces and faster movement.
- 3Dimension Swap: Found in Pueblucho. Allows switching between the living and dead worlds. Swaps are undone if the player would appear inside a solid object.
Enemies:
This section details various enemies encountered in the game. Note that most enemy names are unofficial. In addition to enemies, hazards like spikes (10 damage, some rare sets deal 20 damage) and lava (10 damage) can be dodged through, while saws are instant kills.
Enemy attributes include:
- HP: Health points. Marked as '-' if immeasurably low.
- Hits to grab: Number of hits required before an enemy can be grabbed. Not listed for ungrabbable enemies.
