Part 11

The fight begins in the dead world. X'tabay will periodically flip you between the living and dead worlds.

In the dead world, the room is empty.

In the living world, the floor is covered in spikes, and a new platform appears in the middle. This platform elevates you so you can hit X'tabay without jumping, but alters how you must avoid her flying explosive hearts.

When X'tabay appears at the top of the room, she is about to flip you between worlds. If you are on the platform in the living world, you can hit her out of this animation if you are fast enough.

Once X'tabay reaches 500 HP, Phase 2 begins, fought entirely in the dead world.

In Phase 2, X'tabay walks on the ground and can phase-teleport around you mid-combo. She has three attacks:

Bad Breath: Short windup, long-reaching range in front. Easy to dodge through.

Ether Leap: Becomes intangible and jumps a fair distance. Not worth attacking during.

Thunder Rage: Produces a storm cloud that sends damaging rain down on both sides. Wide range, difficult to dodge through.

All attacks in Phase 2 deal 20 damage.

Upon reaching 260 HP, Phase 3 begins. X'tabay produces two clones: one with a red shield and one with a green shield.

Both clones have 150 HP and release 10 health orbs when destroyed. They may also take one extra hit to stun.

After both clones are defeated, X'tabay reappears with a yellow shield. Nothing else changes.
