Four "Secret" Trophies

Locate all four secret trophies in Gone Home: Wet Bandit, Intuitive, This Old House, and Nesting Instinct. Follow our guide to unlock them all.

These are four of the five secret trophies in the game. They are described in the walkthrough for the Gone Home Trophy, but are included here for quick reference.

The four secret trophies are:

1. Wet Bandit
2. Intuitive
3. This Old House
4. Nesting Instinct

1. Wet Bandit

Turn on 8 separate faucets simultaneously to earn the Wet Bandit trophy. The locations are:

1. Toilet Room to the left of the front door in the Foyer.
2. Toilet Room opposite the Laundry Room (East Wing).
3. Laundry Room (East Wing).
4. Bathroom upstairs (near Sam's room) - bath and basin.
5. Mom and Dad's Bedroom - 2 basins and 1 bath.

2. Intuitive

Basement

From the West Wing, enter the Basement (requires the Basement Key from Sam's room locker). Proceed to the third area and enter the door to the right, leading to the Servant's Quarters. Continue through the next door and turn on the light to find a locked safe in the corner of the passage. Use the combination 1963 on the safe to earn the Intuitive trophy.

Alert! This trophy is missable. You cannot obtain it if you have already discovered the code by opening a secret panel in the wall. This panel is accessed by pushing a button inside the closet in the Guest Room, leading down into the Basement. A scrap of paper on the floor inside the newly opened area reveals the code. Reading this scrap prevents you from earning the trophy for unlocking the safe.

Other Clues The year 1963 is referenced frequently, as it was the year of President Kennedy's assassination, an event Sam's father is obsessed with. His books about JFK and a note on the noticeboard above his desk also reference this date.

3. This Old House

First Floor: Guest Room

In the upstairs corridor, go straight ahead into the Guest Room. Turn on the light switch by the door and the lamp behind the bed. Slide open the closet door and turn on its light. Look up at the ceiling in the right corner closest to the room; you will see a small button. Press this button to open a secret panel and earn the This Old House trophy.

4. Nesting Instinct

At the start of the game, you discard the Christmas Duck to get the front door key. To earn the Nesting Instinct trophy, you must carry the Christmas Duck to the Attic. When opening the Attic door, drop the Duck so she doesn't get trapped under the ladder. Pick her up again and climb up. At the top, turn left and place the Duck in her nest.
