Throughout the galaxy, you'll encounter various 'Anomalies'. Sending a 'Survey Ship' to investigate them can yield powerful 'Artifacts', technology boosts, or even unique planetary improvements. Prioritize surveying anomalies, especially in the early game, as the rewards can provide a significant advantage. Some artifacts grant permanent empire-wide bonuses.
