Alright, let's talk about building up your Baron's status in Dungeons & Dragons Online. It might seem a bit confusing at first, but once you know what to look for, it's pretty straightforward.

First things first, you need to access your Baron's statistics screen. Look to the right side of your screen and click on the very top name. This is always your BARON leader. Important: Don't click on the pyramid icon; that's for something else. You'll know you're on the right screen if you see a 'percentage' section in the stats.

This percentage tells you two key things. The top number shows your current status level right now. The bottom number shows you how much more you need to achieve to reach the next status level. Right next to the percentage, you'll also see 'points for area owned'. Similar to the status percentage, the top number is what you currently have, and the bottom is what you need to conquer more territory to advance.

You'll officially gain the next status level only when you've met BOTH the area owned requirement AND the status percentage requirement. Keep an eye on this, as none of the other character names on that list will show this crucial information – they'll just have the usual details about food, population, and income.

Now, there's another way to build up your status, and it involves a bit of conquest:

• Destroy the FIRST low-intelligence enemy stronghold.
• Destroy the FIRST medium-intelligence enemy stronghold.

A word of caution here: Only go after an enemy stronghold if you've built up a decent-sized army and your characters are at a high enough level to handle the fight. Attacking too early could lead to unnecessary losses!
