Special Item Acquisition (CHOKER):

  • To obtain a CHOKER, approach the chest containing the TORCH with a full inventory. If you have already taken the Torch, the chest will respawn upon exiting the cave.
  • Attempt to open the chest. If the item offered is a Torch, refuse to discard an item from your inventory. This will place the Torch back into the chest.
  • Repeat this process until you are offered a CHOKER. You must discard an item from your inventory to receive the CHOKER. This cursed item can be sold for 1200G. Once the CHOKER is taken, the chest will no longer respawn.
