Guide to collecting Yellow Tablet Fragments in Dragon Quest VII Reimagined. Learn how to find fragments in Estard, Rainbow Cove, and Pilchard Bay to unlock new islands.
This guide details how to collect the three Yellow Tablet Fragments needed to progress in Dragon Quest VII Reimagined. These fragments are essential for unlocking new islands and progressing through the game's story.
Walkthrough
- 1Head back to Estard and speak with Dermot, who is located down the stairs near the church. He will give you a key to a trial room.
- 2In the trial room, align the two puzzle pieces to match the symbol on the wall and stand on the square at the top of the steps to open the path to the fragment.
- 3Approach the Yellow Tablet Fragment to trigger a fight against two Tribulators. This is a tutorial boss fight, and it is difficult to lose. Use Medicinal Herbs if your HP gets low.
- 4After obtaining the first fragment, return to Estard and go to the house behind the Item Shop. Speak with Pike.
- 5Collect three empty bottles from around Estard. The locations are outside Pike's house, near the town entrance, and beside the church doors.
- 6With the bottles collected, head north from Estard to Rainbow Cove. Speak with Pike again and fill the bottles with water to unlock the next trial room.
- 7In the Rainbow Cove trial room, push the pillars into the holes to block the waterfalls. Once the water subsides, you can enter the room and collect the fragment.
- 8To get the final fragment, return to Pilchard Bay and speak with your dad.
- 9After speaking with your dad, return to the Shrine of Mysteries. Interact with the statue to trigger a cutscene, and Maribel will join your party.
- 10Speak with The Caretaker inside the Shrine of Mysteries to access your first island, Ballymolloy, via the top Yellow Tablet Pedestal.
