Embark on an epic journey through Dragon Quest VII Reimagined! This guide details how to unlock and explore every island, from the past to the present, and beyond.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined's main story progresses by collecting fragments in order to unlock and enter a region from the past. Each region has a questline that ends with a boss that you need to defeat to head back to the present time.

Once you head back to the present, you can explore the island and collect more fragments to unlock new regions.

    Prologue
    • Pilchard Bay
      • 1. Create a new save, inputting your name and settings. The Hero's name cannot be changed.

    2. Explore Pilchard Bay for items. It's recommended to explore new areas thoroughly for treasure chests and Mini Medals.

    3. Head home and sleep. Wake up, go to the east side of the village, and board the ship to give your dad the sandwich.

    4. Talk to Maribel inside the ship, then go back outside to continue the story.

    • 1. Head west. A cutscene will play, summoning you to Estard Castle.

    2. Explore Estard town before heading to the castle. In the castle, go to the throne room before exploring the rest of it.
