Version 1.52 - 1/6/2025: Updated contact and copyright information, and fixed a few minor issues. This is a very old guide written in an older writing style, but the author wanted to keep it as original as possible. The author expressed gratitude for the views over the years.

Version 1.51 - 5/28/2013: Contact information was updated. The author was considering adding a new section to cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) changes for the PlayStation Vita version, but this was not guaranteed to be added.

Version 1.50 - 2/2/2013: Minor fixes were made. A "tips" section was added to help players new to fighting games, explaining some basics and general mechanics. The "legal" section was updated, and Neoseeker and Cheat Code Central were added to the list of authorized sites. The author planned to finish the title list and potentially make changes to the tips section. The next update was planned to be "Version 2.0," the "Final Version," with a possibility of a second version for Dead or Alive 5 Plus.

Version 1.25 - 1/28/2013: This update was timed with the 1.03 patch. It included new unlock requirements for unlockables, added a Stage/Danger Zone section, and made minor changes. A full list of title requirements was not included as they are listed in-game, but the title names themselves were included. Thanks were given to those who noticed issues in the previous version, and their names were added to the credits. Patch 1.03 changed characters and added new moves but did not significantly impact the story mode guide.

Version 0.75 - 10/1/2012: The basic guide was finished with most information included. The Stage Section and Mission sections were still undergoing work.
